Dusted Privacy Policy

We ("Dusted," "we," "us" or "our") operate Dusted, a decentralized social platform that enables users to participate in token-based chatrooms with additional interactive features.

This Privacy Policy describes how Dusted processes personal information that we collect through our services, website, and applications (collectively, the "Service").

1. Personal Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Profile Data: Username, wallet address, connected social media accounts, profile pictures, referral codes, and other information you may set to establish an online account on the Service and your publicly available information on these social networks, interests, preferences, and any other information that you add to your account profile.
  • Communication Data: Any data provided to Dusted through your interactions on the Service, not limited to: messages, content uploaded, links etc.
  • User-generated content data, such as photos, images, music, videos, comments, questions, messages, works of authorship, and other content or information that you generate, transmit, or otherwise make available on the Service, as well as associated metadata. Metadata includes information on how, when, where and by whom a piece of content was received and how that content has been formatted or edited. Metadata also includes information that users can add or can have added to their content, such as keywords and other similar data.
  • Transactional Data: Blockchain transaction history, including token holdings, selections, and transfers made through the Service.
  • Marketing Preferences: Your preferences for receiving communications and other engagement data.
  • Other data not specifically listed here, which we will use as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

Information from third parties

We may receive personal information from:

  • Connected Wallet Providers: Your public wallet address and transaction details.
  • Social Media Platforms: When you choose to link your X (formerly known as Twitter) account or other social media, we may access your username, profile picture, details of last log-in and other data made available to us.
    • This data may include your Google username, profile picture and other information associated with your Google account on that third-party service that is made available to us based on your account settings on that service. Our use and disclosure of information received from Google's APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Third party services also encompass any virtual currency account services you link to the Services. This data may include your wallet address and other information associated with your account on that third-party service that is made available to us based on your account settings on that service.
  • Public sources, such as government agencies, public records, any social media platforms, public blockchains and ledgers, and other publicly available sources.
    • Data providers, such as information services and data licensors.
    • Partners, such as marketing partners and event co-sponsors.
    • Blockchains: We may collect publicly available blockchain data relevant to the respective wallet address not limited to transactions and token holdings.

Automatic Data Collection

We, and our partners, may automatically log data about you, your device, and how you use the Service, including:

  • Device Data: Device type, browser type, IP address, and operating system. Such as your computer or mobile device's operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers, language settings, mobile device carrier, and radio/network information (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE, 3G, 4G, 5G).
  • Usage Data: General usage by you such as pages or screens you viewed, chatroom activity (messages, content uploads etc.) how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times and duration of access, and any other interactive information within the Service.
  • Communication Data: engagement data (clicks, messages, content etc.) across Dusted and associated service platforms.

2. Tracking Technologies

We use technologies like cookies, and local storage to improve our Service:

  • Cookies: To remember preferences and improve experience of the Service, which are small text files that websites store on user devices and that allow web servers to record users' web browsing activities and remember their submissions, preferences, and login status as they navigate a site. Cookies used on our sites include both "session cookies" that are deleted when a session ends, "persistent cookies" that remain longer, "first party" cookies that we place and "third party" cookies that our third-party business partners and service providers place.

  • Provide the Service: Facilitate wallet connections, token-based chatrooms and their interaction features, and any other relevant social features of the Service.

  • Third Parties Designated by You: Wallet providers or social platforms that you explicitly link to Dusted.
  • Affiliates: Subsidiaries or related entities within the Dusted group.

  • Business Transferees: During mergers, acquisitions, or sales, your data may be transferred to new owners.

5. Your Choices

  • Access or Update Your Information: You can edit profile information through your account settings.
  • Adjust Wallet Connections and Permissions: Disconnect and revoke any permissions provided to Dusted on your behalf.
  • Opt-out of Marketing: Unsubscribe by contacting us directly on support@dusted.app.
  • Manage Cookies: Use browser settings to control or delete cookies.
  • Revoke Social Media Connections: Adjust permissions in your connected social media accounts.

6. Security

We employ technical, organizational, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet credentials and social media connections.

7. International Data Transfers

Your personal information may be stored and processed in jurisdictions outside your home country, including jurisdictions with different data protection laws. By using our Service, you consent to these transfers.

8. Age Restrictions

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. If we learn, beyond reasonable doubt, that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, it will be communicated by updating the effective date provided on this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
